Source of acquisition is the Instytut Pamięci Narodowej-Komisja Ścigania Zbrodni przeciwko Narodowi Polskiemu (Institute of National Remembrance-Commission for the Prosecution of Crimes against the Polish Nation). The Stadtverwaltung Weichselstadt created the records from ca. 1939 to ca. 1944. After World War II, the records were deposited in the archives of the Main Commission for the Investigation of Nazi Crimes in Poland. The records were selected for filming from the Main Commission, Sygn. 67. The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives received the microfilm in Apr. 1993.
