Acquisition
Forms part of the Claims Conference International Holocaust Documentation Archive at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. This archive consists of documentation whose reproduction and/or acquisition was made possible with funding from the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany.
The documents were selected and photocopied at the Derz︠h︡avnyĭ arkhiv Lʹvivsʹkoï oblasti (State Archives of Lviv Oblast) in Ukraine by the Yad Vashem in 1991. A microfilm copy of the materials was received at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Apr. 1992.
Scope and Content
Contains information about the German occupation of Lemberg (a.k.a. Lʹviv, Lwow, or Lʹvov), Poland, the establishment of the Lʹviv ghetto, and Jews involved in public work programs and industry.
