The records were created by the Mogilev City Administration, oblast government offices in Bobruysk, and German occupation agencies during World War II. The records were captured by the Red Army and later deposited in the Mogilev Oblast Archive. The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives microfilmed selected files from the Mogilev Oblast Archives during the fall of 1991.
