The documents were created by the Budapest City Prosecutor's Office and the Budapest City People's Court during the investigation of the case of Anna Szenes and the case of Gyula Simon, president of the military court responsible for the sentencing of Anna Szenes, from 1946 to 1949. Copies of the documents were obtained from the Budapest City Archives by Miles Lerman. Mr. Lerman forwarded the copies to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Sept. 1992. Materials are copies from the holdings of another archives.

Contains information about the investigation of the case of partisan Hannah Szenes and about the case and sentencing of Gyula Simon, president of the military court responsible for the sentencing of Anna Szenes.
