Forms part of the Claims Conference International Holocaust Documentation Archive at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. This archive consists of documentation whose reproduction and/or acquisition was made possible with funding from the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany.

Source of acquisition is the German Federal Archives (Bundesarchiv), Collection NS 31.The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum's International Programs Division acquired the microfiche from the Bundesarchiv, Abteilung Potsdam, in 1999. The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives received the microfiche in Apr.1999.

Scope and Content

This collection contains files relating to the ideological and political training of the SS, especially replacements in the Waffen-SS, the police and other organizations absorbed by the SS, the build-up and training of the SS in the “Germanic” countries, and the collection of information on the racial backgrounds of SS members.
