Acquisition

Source of acquisition is the Derz︠h︡avnyĭ arkhiv Lʹvivsʹkoï oblasti (State Archive of Lviv Oblast). The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives received the collection via the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives International Archives Project in 1995.

Scope and Content

Contains records of the Extraordinary Commission to Investigate German-Fascist Crimes Committed on Soviet Territory. The materials pertain to the L’viv oblast, including reports on atrocities and mass killings and name lists of victims.
