Cite YIVO Institute for Jewish Research as custodian of the original records
United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives selected the Nazi documents from the Itzkhak Giterman collection in the archives of YIVO Institute for Jewish Research for filming in 1990. The Archives received the microfilms in 1991.
Scope and Content
Contains records relating to the German occupation of France, Poland, and the Soviet Union. Subjects include activities of the Wehrmacht, the transport of Jews from France, and the establishment of German communities in the occupied territories in the East.
