In 1654 he signed an agreement with Russian tsar Alexey according to which Ukraine would receive military support from Russia. Later on this agreement was reinterpreted in such a way that allowed the Russian tsar to perceive of Ukraine as part of Russia. The footage shows the monument of Bohdan in Kyiv.]]></p>
