Biographical History

German governmental anti-communist and anti-Semitic propaganda agency. This collection consists of three sections of which Section l is probably the most useful for this bibliography. Section l consists of a clipping collection of German newspaper articles, news service reports, etc., arranged by country. Each country's collection is subdivided by topics (e.g. politics, culture, race, economics, Jewish question, antisemitism, etc.) for the years l935-l944. The collection is particularly extensive for Poland, Great Britain, Romania, the Soviet Union, Germany, France, Palestine. Section 2 consists of a set of more than 200 folders for the years l937-l944 arranged by geographical area containing intelligence reports from diplomatic sources, monitored radio reports, as well as transcriptions of foreign newspaper articles. The sections on Germany, and particularly on Spain for the Civil War are extensive. Section 3 consists of a set of typed or mimeographed manuscripts (in German and French) on Soviet activities for the years l938-l944.
