According to the Decree of the Romanian Government no. 2770 of October 9, 1918, county courts/tribunals were established in Bessarabia. They dealt with the examination of criminal and civil cases, except for crimes committed by minors. The tribunals may also have examined the cases as an appeal inspection, re-examining the petitions of innocence. The cases were placed in county tribunals only if the offender lived or committed the offense within the county.
The county tribunals were formed in two sections: criminal and civil. Based on the amendments of December 25, 1926, cases unresolved in the tribunals could be handed over to the Court of Appeal in Chisinau.
Judges of the county tribunals were appointed by royal decree, at the proposal of the Ministry of Justice. In the same way, there were appointed prosecutors and secretaries of the tribunals.
They county tribunals disbanded in 1944.

Information about persons convicted of anti-Romanian activities; correspondence with the Bălţi gendarme legion on the execution of arrest warrants; bribery cases; cases of surveillance of the activities of various nationalist organizations in the Bălţi city; cases on charges of belonging to legionary organizations; correspondence on the progress of criminal investigations; staff correspondence; acts on the results of searches conducted at the houses of Bălţi residents; the case of taking actions against Baptism propaganda; instructions from the county prefecture about preparing for the evacuation of institutions to Romania

Согласно постановлению правительства Румынии №. 2770 от 9 октября 1918 г., в Бессарабии были созданы уездные трибуналы. Они занимались проверкой уголовных и гражданских кадров, за исключением преступлений, совершенных несовершеннолетними. Трибунал можг также проверять дела в качестве апелляционной инспекции, повторно изучав ходатайства о невиновности. Дела передавались на рассмотрение в окружной трибунал в суд лишь в том случае, если преступник жил или совершил преступление в данном округе/уезде/жудеце.
Трибуналы делились на две секции: уголовную и гражданскую. На основании поправок от 25 декабря 1926 года те дела, по которым не было достигнуто окончательного решения в рамках трибунала, могли быть переданы на рассмотрение в Апелляционный суд в г. Кишиневе (Кишинэу)
Судьи уездных трибуналов назначались королевским указом по предложению Министерства юстиции. Точно так же назначались прокуроры и секретари трибуналов.
Уездные трибуналы были расформированы в 1944 году
