The series that can be related to the Shoah period are: "Organi delle Comunità", where you can find correspondance with Fascist Authorities; Attività Culturale, spirituale, di assistenza; stampa" containing news about Jewish heritage; cemeteries and temples; "attività culturali, sociali, religiose e di assistenza dell'Unione e di organismi ebraici in Italia" containing documents regarding support to Jewish Refugees coming to Italy (1930-1933); "Assistance to Jewish Refugees coming from Germany (Jews in Germany: 1932-1934)

This Fund is related to the history of the new Law for the juridical organization of Italian Judaism, by creating an autonomous unique institution representing all the Italian Communities towards the Government
Przejęcie
In order to avoid the risk of losing documents, UCEI decided to tranfer the fund when the Centro Bibliografico Institute was founded in 1990. Therefore most of the Fund collections obtained by the Sovrintendenza ai Beni Archivistici, the declaration of "great historical interest."
Zakres i treść
The above mentioned series are important since they can document the situation in Europe, the flee of Refugees, the necessity to recover them; beside that, the series "Demografia e Statistica; anagrafe" can be important to know the situation before the census of Jewish population, of immigrant population, and the total amount of italian and foreign Jews before the 1938 racial laws
Sposób uporządkowania
In each file, documents are ordered chronologically: starting from the bottom, up to the most recent ones. In 2010 the whole Fund was digitized by the Holocaust Foundation, in order to collect materials on the History of the Jews in Europe during the First half of the 20th Century.

The research on the documents is free of charge, with no limits. Users must write to the manager address in order to fix a date. Respect on the Italian Law on the protection of personal datas is highly recommended.

Il Fondo ha riferimenti alla storia della nuova Legge (1930) per l'organizzazione giuridica dell'Ebraismo Italiano, che si proponeva la creazione di un'istituzione unica autonoma che rappresentasse tutte le Comunità Ebraiche Italiane dinanzi al Governo.
Przejęcie
Il Fondo venne trasferito dai locali degli uffici dell'Ucei in seguito alla fondazione del Centro Bibliografico, nel 1990. Successivamente gli archivi storici dell'Ucei ottennero la dichiarazione di notevole interesse storico" da parte della Sovrintendenza ai Beni Archivistici del Lazio."

Le serie summenzionate documentano la situazione in Europe, the fuga dei Profughi, la necessità di assisterli; la serie "Demografia e Statistica; anagrafe" é interessante per conoscere la situazione anteriore al censimento della popolazione ebraica, degli immigranti e il numero di ebrei italiani e stranieri prima delle leggi razziali del 1938.
