Il materiale é prodotto dall'Ucei nell'ambito della sua attività istituzionale, e contiene carteggi, relazioni, registri di riunioni.
Dzieje zespołu
Un primo inventario fu redatto nel 2004, per il quale fu utilizzato il metodo storico. Inizialmente si faceva riferimento ad un elenco degli anni Trenta. Si tratta di un Fondo molto ricco di contenuti ed importante per il particolare periodo in cui venne creato. Quando all'Ucei vennero ritrovate altre buste, queste vennero aggiunte, e fu redatto un nuovo inventario nel 2014.
Przejęcie
Allo scopo di scongiurare il rischio della perdita di documenti, l'UCEI deliberò il trasferimento del Fondo in seguito all'apertura del Centro Bibliografico nel 1990. La maggior parte dei fondi ottenne dalla Soprintendenza ai Beni Archivistici la dichiarazione di "notevole interesse storico".

Si segnalano le carte della Delasem, un'importante organizzazione per l'assistenza dei profughi; altri temi sono rintracciabili in documenti concernenti la persecuzione degli Ebrei Italiani durante l'Era Facista; le Leggi razziali; Israele; I censimenti sulla popolazione e i patrimoni appartenenti agli Ebrei.

Alcuni fascicoli risultano vuoti; si suppone che alcuni documenti siano stati perduti durante la guerra o nei trasferimenti in vari anni.
Dopływy materiałów archiwalnych
Il fondo fu trasferito nel 1993 nei locali del Centro Bibliografico, istituito negli anni '90 appositamente per raccogliere il materiale concernente temi sulla storia ebraica. La buste ritrovate negli uffici UCEI nel 2014 vennero aggiunte all'inventario aggiornato nel 2014.
Sposób uporządkowania
In ogni fascicolo i documenti sono ordinati cronologicamente: i più antichi in basso, i più recenti in alto. Nel 2010 l'intero fondo venne digitalizzato dalla Holocaust Foundation allo scopo di raccogliere materiali sulla Storia degli ebrei in Europa durante la prima metà del XX° secolo.

La ricerca sui documenti é libera e gratuita. Gli utenti debbono scrivere al'indirizzo dell'Istituto per prenotare un appuntamento (archiviostorico@ucei.it; gisele.levy@ucei.it). E' fortemente raccomandato il rispetto della legge italiana sulla protezione dei dati personali.

Beside the 158 folders, 9 new folders have been added in 2014. The files are 775, on paper
Dzieje zespołu
A first finding aid was drafted in 2004, according to the historical method. It was initially referred to a list created in the Thirties. This Fund is very rich and important especially for the particular period when it was created. Later on, more folders were found and added: a new finding aid was therefore drafted in 2014.
Przejęcie
In order to avoid the risk of losing documents, UCEI decided to tranfer the fund when the Centro Bibliografico Institute was founded in 1990. Therefore most of the Fund collections obtained by the Sovrintendenza ai Beni Archivistici, the declaration of "great historical interest."
Zakres i treść
Very important are the Delasem papers, an organization for the assistance to the refugees; other subjects the documents related to the persecution of italian Jews in the Fascist Era; Racial Laws; Israel; Censuses on population and heritage possessed by Jews.

Some of the folders are empty; it is supposed that the documents have been lost during the war or during the transfers through many years

This Fund was transferred in 1993 to the Centro Bibliografico, that was created in the '90 in order to collect material on Italian Jewish subjects. In 2014 a few more folders were found in Ucei offices, and were added to the finding aid.
Sposób uporządkowania
In each file, documents are ordered chronologically: starting from the bottom, up to the most recent ones. In 2010 the whole Fund was digitized by the Holocaust Foundation, in order to collect materials on the History of the Jews in Europe during the First half of the 20th Century.

The research on the documents is free of charge, with no limits. Users must write to the manager address in order to fix a date. Respect on the Italian Law on the protection of personal datas is highly recommended.

The researcher is authorized to make copies of the documents upon authorization of the manager.
