Biographical History

The Sudetendeutschepartei (originally the Sudetendeutsche Heimatfront) was founded by Konrad Henlein in 1933. This was a right wing nationalist party, which in later years became more radical and was ultimately taken over by the Nazis. Henlein, himself, became Gauleiter for the region and was tried for war crimes.
