Biographical History
During the Soviet era in Estonia (1944-1989/1991), the archival system functioned under strict political control. Documents from the period of German occupation 1941-1944 were kept in special department; access to these materials was very limited and strictly regulated by Soviet State Security authorities.

This collection of copies includes various relevant copied documents, including:
