The material was sorted during arrangement of the fonds of the Oberlandesgericht (Supreme Regional Court) and processed by a team of workers from the State Archives in 1960. An inventory was created in 1964 for the personal files of higher-ranking employees. A catalogue of files of the Sondergericht (Special Court) was processed in 1994, although only from the material of the Oberlandesgericht (Supreme Regional Court), where judgements and indictments were preserved. The fonds was subject to internal appraisal in 1997 and re-inventoried.
Zakres i treść
The fonds contains incompletely preserved documents from the activity of the Landgericht (Reichs Regional Court) of Litoměřice and affiliated Sondergericht (Special Court). The fonds contains books with company records held according to district courts from 1939–1945 (inv. № 462–489), which document ownership changes in the companies of individuals and joint stock companies in 1939–1945.
Sposób uporządkowania
Files are stored in 6 main groups: I. General files, II. Collective files, III. Personal files of the employees of the judicial district, IV. Collective files with reference AR, V. Files of the court prison, VI. Files of employees of the prison. No files of the actual civil agenda were preserved. Files of the criminal agenda are stored in the fonds of the Public Prosecutor. Files of the Special Court were not preserved, but judgements are preserved in the fonds of the Supreme Land Court of Litoměřice.
