In late 2015, the archival system of the Slovak state archives has been reorganised. In this process, the "State archive in Levoča: Stará Ľubovňa Branch" (Štátny archív v Levoči - pobočka Stará Ľubovňa) has been renamed and operates now under the name "State archive in Prešov - workplace Archive Stará Ľubovňa" (Štátny archív v Prešove, workspace Archive Stará Ľubovňa). State archive in Prešov, workplace Archive Stará Ľubovňa is the subordinate archive of the State archive in Prešov (Štátny archív v Prešove) now.
