Reading Room 1 (Bolshaya Pirogovskaya 17) Monday, Wednesday: 12.00 – 8 p.m. Tuesday, Thursday: 10.00 a.m. – 5 p.m. Friday: 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Reading Room 2 (ul. Berezhkovskoya 26): Monday, Wednesday: 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Tuesday, Thursday: 1 p.m. – 8 p.m. Friday: 10 a.m.– 4 p.m. In order to work in the Reading Room of the Archive, researchers are expected to send information about themselves and their goals of their research in advance. While coming to the archive, researchers need to be in possession of documents confirming their identity. The Archive has two reading rooms, located at separate addresses. Reading Room nr. 1 (at Bolshaya Pirogovskaya 17) allows access to the documents on the history of Russian Empire (Tsarist State) in the 19th and at the beginning of 20th century, history of the 'white' counterrevolutionary movement and emigration, history of Soviet Union and Russian Federation. Reading Room nr. 2 (ul. Berezhkovskoya 26) allows to access documents of the Russian Socialistic Federal Soviet Republic.
