History

The RHC Rijnstreek Lopikerwaard has emerged from the Streekarchief Rijnstreek in April 1, 2008 and holds materials from the Hoogheemraadschap Stichtse Rijnlanden and the municipalities of Bodegraven-Reeuwijk, Lopik, Montfoort, Oudewater, Woerden and IJsselstein.

Archival and Other Holdings

The RHC Rijnstreek en Lopikerwaard currently manages more than 1100 different archives and collections of (former) municipalities, businesses, institutions, associations, foundations and individuals.

Opening Times

The RHC Rijnstreek Lopikerwaard is open from Monday to Friday from 9am to 5:30pm.

Conditions of Access

Before entering the reading room, it is necessary register at the staff of the reading room. When you first visit the reading room, you are asked to fill out a visitor card; on subsequent visits you can simply mention your name.

Reproduction Services

If the material and the size of the materials allows it (as assessed by the study staff) photocopies can be made; larger quantities or printing large format may take some time. It is allowed to use a (digital) camera, without using flash. Scanning or reproducing the materials using your own equipment is not allowed.
