History

Founded in 1956, the Israel Film Service has set as its goal the promotion of Israeli and Jewish society, culture, art, and history. For years, the Israel Film Service has been a key player in the production of Israeli films on order for national institutions and in the creation of original documentaries. It's films have been screened on Israeli and international television and have won many prestigious awards both in Israel and at festival overseas. The many thousands of films produced by the Israel Film Service constitute an invaluable archive
