The Békés Archive is a branch archive of the Békés County Archives, which was established in 1950.The archival collections of the Békés County Archives consist of 8468 meters of archival records.

The Békés branch archive collects the files of different institutions in former Békés district, the documents of Békés county council and the county files of the Hungarian Workers’ Party and the Hungarian Socialist Workers’ Party.
Opening Times
The Békés Branch Archive is open to the researchers on Mondays to Thursdays from 8:00 to 12:00 and from 13:00 to 16:30, on Fridays from 8:00 to 12:00 and from 13:00 to 14:00.
