Organizatsia na evreite v Bulgaria "Shalom"

The Organization of Jews in Bulgaria 'Shalom' was registered under this name in 1990 as successor of the Central Consistory and the Social Cultural and Educational Association of Jews in Bulgaria.

Main building - the so called Beit Ha'am at 51 Stambolijski st. A second community center - Beit Shalom - was opened in 2006 at 15 Ekzarch Yosif st.

The Organization of Jews in Bulgaria 'Shalom' keeps a small collection of old Jewish prayer books. Recently, the archives of the Central Consistory from the years after 1960 are being organized and will be cataloged in near future for use by researchers.
