Historia

State Archive of Belgorod Oblast was established in 1954 together with the Belgorod Oblast itself. It started to collect archival documents only in 1966 when it had obtained building suitable for its activity. Then it had received material referring to the Belgorod Oblast from the Voronezh and Kursk archives were it was stored. In 1995 archive had obtained new building where it exists until today.
