Regierungspräsident Eger (Cheb) with its headquarter in Karlsbad (Karlovy Vary) was together with its counterparts in Aussig (Ústí nad Labem) and Troppau (Opava) the highest body of the civil self administration in the Reichsgau Sudetengau after the Gau administration in Reichenberg (Liberec).
